About Us

The Ophthalmic Association of Bihar was established in the year 2022. It is a registered society under the societies registration act of 1860. Membership of the society has continuously grown over the years and currently it has over 266+ life & Annual members.

Eye Care Services in rural areas were being taken care by a few private ophthalmic surgeons in Bihar State in a sporadic manner for some years. Eye surgeons activated with generous spirit of taking ophthalmic help and advice to the door of dwellers.

Ophthalmic Association of Bihar is now a 400 member strong association. The annual conference is a mega event involving more than 500 delegates from all over the Bihar. With over 400 Associate delegates and about 100 trade people, the Annual conference is one of the important medical conference in the State.
